Yahoo! och Oxfam samlar in pengar utan att det kostar användaren ett öre

Yahoo! UK and Ireland, Storbritanniens mest populära webbguide, och Oxfam, Storbritanniens största biståndsorganisation, lanserar idag "Yahoo! Online with Oxfam". Det är en gratistjänst för Internettillgång som gör att användare kan samla ihop pengar till Oxfam utan att det kostar dem något.

'Yahoo! Online with Oxfam' is a free Internet access service with its own home page, www.oxfam.yahoo.co.uk. It will link users directly to all the services offered by Yahoo! UK and Ireland (www.yahoo.co.uk) and to Oxfam's home pages (www.oxfam.org.uk) where people can learn all about Oxfam's work around the world, whilst also giving access to all the resources of the Internet.

To use the Internet access service customers can walk into any Oxfam shop and pick up a 'Yahoo! Online with Oxfam' CD ROM or telephone 0870 241 0874 to receive a copy in the post. Alternatively the software can be downloaded directly from Oxfam's website (www.oxfam.org.uk).

'Yahoo! Online with Oxfam' will be promoted online by Yahoo! UK and Ireland and offline with an extensive press campaign and promotional activity in Oxfam stores. The launch is being supported by Friends Provident, the UK's leading provider of ethical investments.

All of the access provider income from the local call charges paid to access the service will be donated by Yahoo! to Oxfam.
